Manage your BusinessPH account settings and preferences.

Creating an Account

To create a BusinessPH account:

  1. Click "Register" on the homepage
  2. Choose your membership type (Business or Organization)
  3. Fill in your personal and business details
  4. Create a secure password
  5. Verify your email address
  6. Wait for admin approval (typically 1-2 business days)

Note: All accounts require admin approval to ensure quality and authenticity.

Account Settings

You can manage your account settings from your profile page:

  • Personal Information: Update your name, email, and contact details
  • Password: Change your password for security
  • Profile Picture: Upload or change your profile photo
  • Business Details: Update your business or organization information
  • Location: Update your city and region

Privacy & Security

  • Email Visibility: Your email is kept private and not shown publicly
  • Password Security: Use a strong, unique password
  • Two-Factor Authentication: Coming soon for enhanced security
  • Data Protection: We comply with New Zealand privacy laws

Notification Preferences

Manage what notifications you receive:

  • New Events: Get notified about new events in your area
  • Business Updates: Updates about businesses you follow
  • Weekly Digest: Weekly summary of activity
  • Approval Updates: Status updates on your listings
  • Subscription Updates: Billing and subscription notifications

Deleting Your Account

If you wish to delete your BusinessPH account, please contact our support team. Note that deleting your account will:

  • Remove all your business listings
  • Delete your profile information
  • Cancel any active subscriptions
  • Remove your reviews and saved items

This action cannot be undone. Please export any data you need before requesting deletion.
